How to Make Money with Your Mobile Stage
By MobileStageNetwork | March 17, 2010 at 10:46 AM EDT | No Comments

Investing in a mobile stage is a big decision, and it is important to have the experts on your side.  Here at Mobile Stage Network, we can give you all of the information you need to feel good about your decision.

If you are in the entertainment business, you are aware that the initial investment is always the biggest, and you are looking at where you will see your return on investment (ROI).  The best way to show the usual ROI with a mobile stage investment is by example.

For example, let’s say you invest in an L-shaped mobile stage for approximately $80,000.  If you then rent the stage out for $2,500 per date, and do so 32 times, you will see your ROI.  Most mobile stage units are paid off within two seasons or less, and most owners need more than one stage after their second season as they become more popular within the community.

Once you hit your ROI status, then you are free to begin turning profit by continuing to rent out your mobile stage.  That is, after all, why you invested in the first place!  If you own your own audio and lighting you can rent them out as well, increasing your overall income.

Owning a mobile stage puts you at the top of the food chain, because when people in the community are planning an event, they begin by seeking the appropriate stage first, then lighting, then sound.   If you are the business with the complete package of all three, you become a once-source company who stands out among competitors!  So what are you waiting for?  Contact us today to learn more about how you can become an entrepreneur in the entertainment business with mobile stage rentals.

The Most Popular Mobile Stage Sizes for Streamlining Events
By MobileStageNetwork | March 09, 2010 at 04:36 PM EST | No Comments

Renting a mobile stage does not have to be a challenge, we are here to streamline the process for you, showcasing the most popular sizes for various events.

Gauging the previous successes of our clients hosting specific events, we are the industry experts qualified to help direct you to exactly the right size mobile stage rental for your needs.

The most popular mobile stage sizes are as follows:

•    14x12 stage rental
•     22x20 stage rental
•     24x16 stage rental
•    24x20 stage rental
•    32x20 stage rental
•    32x24 stage rental
•    32x32 stage rental
•    40x30 stage rental
•    40x40 stage rental
•    50x40 stage rental

Note that any of these mobile stage sizes can be built out with conventional platform stages to create additional square footage for sound wings, monitor mix positions, loading docks, guitar world and other common event needs and requirements.   These are simply the most popular sizes and can be set-up quickly, ideal for shows on the road and events that have several stops.

So if your next event is a community concert at the beach, a 33x20 mobile stage rental may be ideal for  your needs.  If you are hosting a multi-city event, a 50x40 mobile stage rental may be better suited to your needs.

A quick phone consultation is all it will take for us to get a feel for your unique needs and place you in the right direction for creating that memorable event with ease.

Why is the Largest Trailer on a Mobile Stage 50 Feet Wide?
By MobileStageNetwork | March 05, 2010 at 05:14 PM EST | No Comments

In your quest to find the right mobile stage size for your needs, you may have noticed that the sizing for mobile stages ends at a 50’ trailer option.

The reason for this limitation lies in the interest of safety on the roadways.  According to the National Traffic Safety Board, federal law states that the longest a regulation tractor-trailer is permitted to extend is 53 feet, and 13’6” high.

Mobile stages are unmatched in versatility, simplicity and safety.  For this reason, to fully comply with federal regulations, 50x40 mobile stage trailers are adopted.

The 50x40 mobile stage rental is the largest self-contained unit available, and can be set-up and ready to roll light-years faster than a conventional 50x40 stage rental, with less than 1/3rd of the labor and no special machines required.

We understand that some events unavoidably call for a larger stage, and for this reason we do have our BIG BOSS  conventional stage available.  This is not a mobile stage, and does require more time and manpower to assemble.  If you have a large event, this is your conventional stage rental.

The BIG BOSS stage is the largest available stage rental in the world.  To give you an  idea, this stage requires no less than 4 53’ trailers to transport it!  The roof of the BIG BOSS stage can withstand a half million pounds of production equipment, and this stage outperforms anything in its size class.  For more information on the BIG BOSS stage rental, follow link.

Mobile Stages vs Conventional Stages
By MobileStageNetwork | March 03, 2010 at 01:35 PM EST | No Comments

When deciding what type of stage is most suitable to your special and specific event, it becomes necessary to compare the two major types:  the conventional stage and the mobile stage.  While both serve their purposes in varying degrees, let us explain why the mobile stage rental is safer.

Prior to the birth of the mobile stage, the conventional stage reigned supreme.  This all changed with the development of the mobile stage, who has been taking center stage since its introduction.  The main reasons the mobile stage is superior to the conventional stage are its outstanding flexibility and safety.

To outline construction differences, conventional stages are traditionally built piece by piece, and the roof connecting to the stage must be “guy wired”, which means secured to ballasts with steel cables.  The stage platforms are essentially separate from the roof system, which is potentially a dangerous issue in the event the two pieces become disconnected for any reason.

With a mobile stage rental or purchase, all components and parts are connected securely to the main chassis of the trailer.  This gives the mobile stage the superior strength and durability needed to withstand time and the elements safely.

The mobile stage can effectively withstand the often heavy weight of lighting, audio systems, video systems and more without the need for guy wires.  The guy wires and ballasts of a conventional stage increase the foot print area in which a stage lives, which is not ideal for smaller venues.

In tight foot print areas such as city centers, streets and small villages, a mobile stage rental can be set up quickly and safely, providing optimal entertainment on the fly without sacrificing safety.

Go Green with Mobile Stage Marketing
By MobileStageNetwork | February 24, 2010 at 03:15 PM EST | No Comments

In today’s world, conducting daily business is increasingly incorporating environmental awareness in various ways.  With our environment foremost in the minds of many, even marketing strategies are becoming increasingly “green”.  Enter mobile stage marketing.

Mobile stage marketing  and mobile stage rentals are a stellar way to increase brand awareness, generate brand loyalty and market to your target audience-all while having a blast and being green.

Yes, our mobile stages at Mobile Stage Network are among the lightest in the industry, and for that reason they require approximately 50% less energy to tow them to each event location!

This lightweight technology achieves a feat similar to that of new hybrid cars.  Hybrid vehicles are achieving great success in decreasing the amount of fuel required to operate a motor vehicle by using motors developed to run on both battery power and fuel.  Both the lighter mobile stage and the hybrid car decrease the amount of energy and fuel consumed, thus decreasing the carbon footprint of each.  Now that is a breath of fresh air!

With lighter mobile stages, less fuel is needed to transport your unit, and your vehicle experiences less wear-and-tear.  After all, the earth is our biggest stage, and we should all strive to protect it for acts to come.

A mobile stage concert is the ideal way to attract attention, generate excitement, and instill brand-awareness to your product or service.  This is your chance to stand out among your competition.

A mobile stage is significantly less expensive than a traditional stage, and requires minimal staff and effort to travel around for a marketing tour.  There is little denying that when people are enjoying a concert or event, they are going to remember the fun they had and associate that good feeling with your product.  Still not convinced?
Let’s look at the facts about Mobile Stage Marketing:

•    Directly reach your target audience
•    Mass-marketing capacity

Some examples of mobile stage success:

•    Vitamin Water launched its “Formula 50” flavor in conjunction with rapper 50 Cent’s 2005 Anger Management tour dates.  With a mobile stage featuring tailgating rap battles and a live DJ, the crowd enjoyed free samples of “Formula 50” Vitamin Water while enjoying the show.

•    Team Chevy used a mobile stage for their driver interviews for big league race dates in the NASCAR circuit.  The stage banners provide a perfect area for branding, and to promote the driver interview schedule for the weekend.  Fans lined up for the most popular racers, and the excitement was off the charts!

•    Jagermeister tours all year long with their own mobile stage.  Jager experiences notorious success hitting up super cross, bike weeks, racing events, festival events, hosting live music shows and other creative methods.  When fans see the Jager mobile stage rolling in, they know they are going to have an unforgettable experience.

This spectacular event was produced by Phil Fisher of the very professional and organized Online Productions and the City of Miami. Over 30,000 people arrived to donate as much bottled water as possible while enjoying the sounds of Native and Modern Haitian Music. The stage was decorated by Dalsimer Atlas Floral & Event Decorators who did an extraordinary job dressing the mobile stage for this great humanitarian cause. Songs and poems of Hope, Solidarity and Pride filled the entire event and we were proud to be involved. Congratulations to everyone involved proving that when people come together for the greater good of man kind wonderful things can happen.
